Was the “Country” in the name at all designed to indicate that it could be used better for some classic clean country sounds than a traditional Marshall amp? Its rare for me when Marshall combos look good, but this one really looks the part to me. But, I’m playing clean country guitar through a JCM2000 half stack lol.

The clean tones on this video seem to far exceed those of other recordings of this amp. That room has an incredible natural reverb that’s part of it. It may be the camera or 100 watts vs 50

IMO....there is only one great builder of Blackface style amps and that is Louis Electric or...second would be Clark Amplification. I own both and they are fantastic.

I think you ate bad shrooms. I’m not hearing anything warranting a price of over $10k and speakers installed at a 50 degree upward angle should tell you the designer isn’t marketing this for working or touring players. Set on stage sound projection is going straight to the ceiling not the ears of people below and in front of a stage who are your audience. I’m sorry to rant and people can ask what they want but anyone who knows anything realizes this amp would be a challenge to resell for even 4k … In fairness I do like the tremolo I’m hearing and some really nice sounds from the crunch channel but I’m also hearing shrillness in the boost. For over 10k I want the audio equivalent to 24k gold encrusting just about every note

So, it sounds to me like the Bloomfield Drive can do the CRS thing with zero compromise, but also has a second channel to have even more gain. Do they feel significantly different to play through? Wonder if one feels stiffer than the other.

I can’t wrap my head around how a single 12” amp is supposed to be a modern take on a four 10” amp. What sets the Super Reverb sound apart from other Fender black/silverface models *is* the full spacious projection of the 4x10 open back cab. A better “modern take” would just be a lower powered 4x10 amp. Put neo speakers in it if weight is the issue.
